Perko removable pole lights make sense for more than just aluminum boats.

Aluminum skiff owners take heart – Perko has come up with three sizes of removable, plug-in pole lights that overcome the challenges of finding a flat surface on which to mount the base.  Perko realized that horizontal surfaces on compact metal vessels are almost non-existent so they came up with a new vertical mounting option.

The Perko 1131 Series is designed to mount to the side of the gunnels and consoles of small boats.  They’re easy to install and wire and are available in three sizes – 24”, 36” and 42”.

With gold plated contacts for better corrosion resistance, the 1131 Series of lights can be removed and stored under the gunnels with Perko’s 0477 pole clips which will keep them out of the way and out of sight when not in use.

The key to these lights is the bracket which is designed to mount vertically and may make these lights versatile enough for other uses as well.   The lights retail from $45-$75.
