Bavaria 34 Cruiser: Plenty of Room at the Table

The Bavaria 34 is an allaround cruiser with modern european styling, light displacement, and an emphasis on a spacious central dining area.

Available in either a 2 or 3 cabin version and with a standard keel or shoal draft option, the Bavaria 34 can be configured to fit a wide range of owner preferences. For the cruising couple, the double cabin version provides a large aft stateroom with plenty of storage space and a hanging locker. The three cabin version splits the aft cabin and takes some space away from the forecabin sleeping area to move the head foreward. Unless you need to pack more than six people into the boat for overnight accomodations, the two cabin version is definitely the one to choose. The settees make large singles, thus accomodating six in the two cabin version. The head is moved forward in the three cabin version, and is significantly smaller than in the two cabin model.

In both models the central area is identical; the galley is quite small for a 35 footer. Galley size has been sacrificed to give a large dining area with opposing straight settees. Galley features include a single stainless steel sink, two burner propane stove and an oven.

The 29 hp Volvo engine, combined with light displacement, will make this an easy boat to handle in areas of high tides and current. An electric windlass is standard, deck hardware a combination of traveller, sheeting cars and turning blocks from Rutgerson, with winches by Harken.

Both the shoal and standard keel are available in North America, only the two cabin version is currently being imported.
