The Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is the largest boat show in the Middle East. It showcases billions of dollars of superyachts and has just celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, attracting ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) from across the globe. Here are three of the latest and most exquisite motor yacht models exhibited that captured our attention:

  1. Azimut S7

  2. Sunseeker 65 Sport Yacht

  3. Riva 82 Diva

Azimut revealed the S7, the sporty yacht with green credentials to the Middle East public for the first time. The latest addition to the S Series fleet, the S7 is a collaboration between the yacht designer Alberto Mancini and the creative boutique Yachtique - the Azimut | Benetti Group in-house design studio. This 72-foot yacht is part of Azimut's Low Emission Yacht fleet and is supported by technological research carried out by the R&D Department. The advanced naval architecture and the optimized hull lines, designed in collaboration with P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture combined with three Volvo IPS engines, reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of up to 30% in cruising speeds compared to a similarly sized vessel with a traditional hard-chine hull and centerline.

It's unusual for a yacht helm to receive all of the attention, but look at the 65 Sport Yacht and see what the fuss is about. This multi-award-winning yacht is designed to make operating a boat enjoyable. It boasts two helms, one on the upper deck, known as the SkyHelm™, and another located on the lower deck, featuring adjustable electric twin helm bucket seats with arms and twin 15-inch Garmin displays complete with an IPS docking joystick, helm seats with carbon fiber backrests and an integrated digital center console which has retro-style rounded analog gauges reminiscent of classic Riva runaround boats.

To check out why the helm garnered so much attention, watch the video below:

The modular layout provides three cabins, including a roomy full-beam master stateroom, and can accommodate up to six guests, each with a private en suite. Forward of the garage is the crew members' digs. The luxurious galley features a Miele three-burner cooktop, oven, dishwasher, ice maker, and plenty of stowage. There are also twin fridges under the counter to starboard. Performance-wise, it cruises at 35 knots in the open water. Not bad considering that it stands at 67'2" ft and is equipped with luxury creature comforts from bow to aft.

Riva 82 Diva

The Riva 82 Diva debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September of last year. Despite being the most petite of the Riva tri-deck flybridge range, this elegant yacht boasts one of the largest flybridges in its size category, measuring around 430 square feet. It has a lounge with a dinette and a large bar protected by a carbon fiber hardtop with glass panels. Other Riva models in the ever-growing tri-deck series include the Riva 90 Argo, Riva 102 Corsaro Super, Riva 110 Dolcevita, and Riva 130 Bellissima.

The yacht was designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, and their vision for this yacht was to ensure as much space as possible is dedicated to outdoor living.

External highlights include an aft-facing beach club with two large bulwarks that slide down to create side deck terraces. Forward of the beach club is the stylish cockpit, with facing sofas, providing a living space of nearly 390 feet. The galley is at the forward of the adaptive main deck, which can be arranged to either be closed off or to open out onto the al fresco dining area to create a seamless space.

Other external spaces for sunbathing and lounging are on the bow, and on the aft, where the lounging area is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, a fold-down TV screen, and an al-fresco dining table to seat eight guests.

Four cabins are situated on the lower deck, each with a private en suite to accommodate eight guests, including a spacious full-beam owner's suite. Amidships are two cabins dedicated to the crew, which are accessed through a dedicated separate walkway. The 82 Diva can be fitted with a pair of MAN V12 1800 engines, reaching a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 26.
