Aluminum and Material Technology

At the heart of the S/y “Savoir Faire” is its aluminum hull, built with 5083 alloy, a material certified by Lloyd’s Register. This choice is no accident: 5083 aluminum is renowned for its extreme lightness and robustness, infinite durability, non-flammable and non-absorbent characteristics, and being up to 10 times stiffer than heavier fiberglass hulls. Complementing this solid structure, smart joinery, incorporating low-density composite structures, ensures the overall lightness of the vessel and contributes significantly to the high performance of this remarkable sailing yacht. Aft Cabin Main Stateroom

With unparalleled luxury and volume, the main aft cabin offers a king-size bed, private office, high-ceiling closets, sofa, and a stunning and very comfortable bathroom, ensuring maximum privacy and convenience for its occupants.

Cockpit and Doghouse

The central cockpit, strategically positioned, provides unparalleled amplitude in the aft cabin and is fully protected by an elegantly designed hardtop. The rigid doghouse eliminates the fragility and low durability of canvas dodgers and biminis, as well as all the fragile and expensive covers that have to be dealt with every time one wishes to set sail. Engine Room

Another highlight of this project is the engine room, fully enclosed and with high headroom, offering comfortable access through a watertight door with manual locks. It features watertight aluminum bulkheads and impeccable, effective acoustic insulation capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C, ensuring safety and tranquility.

Raised Salon and Pilot House

Smooth sailing in inhospitable weather is guaranteed by the Raised Salon, which allows for the inclusion of a pilot house in the comfort and warmth of the main salon. With panoramic sea views and autopilot controls, navigation electronics, engine levers, and anchor winch control, commanding the vessel is made easy and safe.

Swing Keel

The hydraulic retractable mechanism occupies very little longitudinal space on the centerline. The retracted keel provides a minimum draft of 1.85 meters and ensures protection for the propulsion assembly and rudder. The system boasts incredible mechanical, hydraulic, and structural robustness, designed to increase safety during anchorage approach. At the same time, with the keel down and in case of an impact, the hydraulic mechanism acts as the perfect shock absorber.

Electronic Technical Area

A controlled ventilation area, reserved for navigation electronics, battery chargers, and monitoring systems. The objective is to ensure an ideal environment for the preservation of your boat’s most delicate equipment, extending its lifespan and ensuring its optimal functioning.

Midship Cabins

Exclusive guest suites, provided by the Raised Salon design. They present themselves as cozy midship cabins with a privileged sea view. These cabins offer comfortable double beds, folding sofas, large storage spaces, and their own private bathrooms. Perfect ventilation through side portlights and emergency exits through good-sized ocean deck hatches.

Front Cabin

A large and comfortable suite that could be considered a master cabin on any sailboat of this size. There is plenty of natural light, a large double bed, sofa, ample storage space within a private closet, and a nice, good-sized bathroom. The bow cabin also provides access to the Technical Area at the front.
