The light and precise helm and the opening bimini are reminiscent of the pleasures of helming a monohull. The cockpit of this boat is bathed in light thanks to its opening roof. On the outside there is the usual trampoline between the hulls, great for sunbathing, as well as the large exterior table. The hulls have a large volume with the option of a three double cabin or four double cabin version. With her completely new lines for the coachroof, a short nacelle and the taller Pulse Line rig, the Excess 12 brings a breath of fresh air to the world of cruising catamarans.

The first of the “Generation X” creations. A bold coupé whose mark – a code used in the aeronautical world to refer to extreme performance and technological evolution – alludes to the unquenchable thirst to set sail for new horizons at great speed. Pershing 5X is the first page of a fabulous new chapter in the history of Pershing. The design of the highly aerodynamic superstructure features the classic Pershing styling, such as the side wings protecting the cockpit, which can be separate or joined to the interior lounge with the innovative system to open and close the glass door and windows. The design is completed with four hull windows per bulwark, each with elliptical portholes, thus making the Pershing 5X a true “fighter jet” on the water. The Pershing 5X comes with twin engines for more controlled or extreme performance: either twin VOLVO IPS950 D11 with 725hp, with Z-drives and counter-rotating propellers (cruising speed, 30 knots; top speed, 36 knots) or, alternatively, twin CAT 12.9 engines, 1,000hp each, with Top System 75X surface drives for a cruising speed of 41 knots and a top speed of 45 knots. It is prepared for Easy Dock, the innovative system that lets you operate it with a joystick. Perfection at all times: thanks to its mobile spaces, Pershing 5X adapts to all weather conditions. The balance between natural light and the soft-hued interiors creates a welcoming atmosphere that is both bright and comfortable. She is the fruit of the partnership between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering department – the first Ferretti yacht with exterior design created with architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are by our own in-house architects and designers. The standout feature among her is the optimal use of space, inside and out, assuring a perfect blend of conviviality and privacy for the owner and guests. The Ferretti Yachts 670 is actually a 67-footer (measuring 20.24 m), albeit with amenities typical of rather larger craft. This design philosophy emerges clearly in the layout: the standard version vaunts 3 generous cabins on the lower deck, and the imaginatively arranged master cabin has an antechamber that acts as a roomy study with writing desk, now an iconic element of this yacht.
