    Think WAY outside the box: I bought this vessel as an off-grid mobile home that has served me very well. A liftboat needs no marina or dock, just pull up wherever you have 6-1/2' of water at high tide and jack up. Since arriving in NYC after a 2,600 mile offshore voyage from Louisiana in 2022 (with no problems), I've successfully kept it for over a year at a time in locations where I paid nothing, and walked off the boat onto a commuter train platform in NYC, as well as in scenic locations up the Hudson River where houses with the views I had cost millions.
