This 2006 Trophy boat is my pride and joy and has served me well for 6+ years.  Think three C's:   Clean, Custom, and Character.   She's solid and trustworthy with a great  Bayliner pedigree- a company that has been building great boats since 1957.  This is a two owner boat which serves the dual purpose of safe and comfortable cruising with family and everything you could ask for in a fishing vessel. Starting with its fishing prowess.  The Muddy Quahog's deep V and excellently engineerrf chine design cuts through the Bay's challenging chop easily for a bone dry experience.  I never see over the top spraying, unless in extreme conditions.  Trim tabs and engine maximizing positioning sets the stage for a cruising speed of 19-21 knots .  Im not one to ride my boats hard, but maximum achieved speed is in the 35 knot area.  Navigation is made easy with three options- the main Raymarine GPS, the accessory GPS or Navionics.  The enclosure around the cockpit allows for security, cover and the great visibility built into this boat. The Captain's chair is comfortable and can either be used to navigate with a well- positioned foot rest or standing-either way is comfortable and puts the Captain if full charge of his or her boat.  This boat is responsive in the water and has impressive take-off and planing abilities.  Backing up and docking is made simple with clever use of the electronic throttle and engine positioning.     The Muddy Quahog can and has effectively fished 6 bottom anglers or four casting fisherman.  Those are rough numbers for conveneince and roominess for each angler.  We often cast from the bow or near the transom area- on port and/or starboard.  Tons of storage on this vessel for fishing gear.  Many secure rod holders and outrigging capability.  Very necessary and handy livewell and fish box makes it easy to store your trophy fish.   This boat is outfitted for safe and enjoyable cruising , if that is your desire.   The acclaimed Verado engine, is quiet and as reliable as the day is long.  A good portion of the hours on this enginel, 2010 hrs,  are due to idling while fishing.  I always prefer to charge the batteries that way.   I have put significant money into it with preventative maintenance and thorough and complete winterizations with only Mercury parts/filters, etc. .  Always serviced by Rick's Marine, a certified Verado expert, maintenance records can be provided.  Overnighting on this vessel is simple and convenient.  Hook it up to shore power, bring your comfortable blankets and relax to music and comfortable accomodations for you and your family.     Overall, this vessel is comfortable can be depended on as a seaworthy boat.  The only reason for moving on for me, is moving up (in size).  Both the sturdy hull and the time honored engine should bring enjoyment for years to come to its new owner .  As with many boat owners, it will be difficult parting with the Muddy Quahog, but the consolation is handing it over to a new passionate owner that will enjoy her, as I have.
