The Figaro BENETEAU 3 is the first production foiling one-design monohull ever to be designed. A distillation of technology and innovation, it results from a collaboration between group BENETEAU’s best experts and the Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP) office, the architects of the two last boats to win the Vendée Globe. The prototype has been tested and the production of the boat has been launched.  It will enter the ISO/World Sailing design category A. Well-thought cockpit ergonomy, no runners, balanced twin-rudder steering system all empower the sailors. No matter if you're sailing solo, double-handed or fully crewed, First 27 SE will reward you with an astonishing sailing experience and pure joy under the sails. 

Wide, flat and stable hull; ballasted swinging keel; gennaker snuffer system; furling jib and minimised deck controls all enable an easy-to-handle and exciting planing and sailing experience. Being easily trailable and dismantled, she would fulfil racing ambitions in international one-design class as well as adventurous sea-camping. First 18 SE delivers a dinghy-like sailing experience but on a more stable and safer platform, thanks to the wide and flat hull shape and deep-ballasted swinging keel. Twin rudders ensure complete control even when planing at double-digit speeds. Boat handling and deck controls are simplified as much as possible for the best sailing experience. The jib is furling, the gennaker is easily operated with a snuffer system and a carbon mast without a backstay supports the powerful square-top mainsail, which ensures fast sailing even in light wind conditions. Thanks to its ergonomic and spacious open cockpit, the boat can be easily sailed solo or with 2 or even up to 3 crew members.

With the FIRST 44, BENETEAU draws to the noblest expression of the term “racer/cruiser”: an elegant and comfortable yacht that provides unequaled pleasure under sail. The generous sail plan allows the First 44 to be lively and efficient in all conditions. The FIRST 44 is presented in two main setups, FIRST 44 and FIRST 44 PERFORMANCE, with a different deck plan and options for keels and masts. In the FIRST 44 version, the cockpit is very convivial with a lovely cockpit table as well as its fluidity with a level access to the large clear gangways. Four winches, a fixed centerline block for the mainsheet and a mast that is set further aft all maximize the potential of her modern sailplan, defined by a slender mainsail and generously sized foresails. Two 350-litre ballast tanks, which can be activated electrically from the helm consoles, make it possible to maintain the boat's full potential. On the FIRST 44 PERFORMANCE, deck ergonomics were studied and developed with fully crewed regattas in mind. Equipment and systems are totally geared towards racing, among which should be mentioned the foam non-skid surfaces that replace the teak on the cockpit sole, six well-placed winches and a conventional mainsail traveller.
