The history of Zeewoelf
The fishing trawler Zeewoelf was built in 1960. After a long adventurous career in the North Sea which included guarding oil rigs, Zeewoelf was converted from a commercial vessel to a motor yacht for private cruising in 2002.
In 2012 she was bought by the current owner. He sailed her down to the Mediterranean for an extensive refit, which has made her more comfortable and adapted to long sea voyages, including through the addition of solar panels, watermaker and updated navigation systems.
In 2014 Zeewoelf crossed the Atlantic. The trip went via Gibraltar and the Canary Islands to St Maarten and back to the western Mediterranean via the Azores. Here she proved herself as a seaworthy, competent vessel capable of long cruise periods without the need to go to port.
Zeewoelf provides exceptional comfort and peace of mind for long stays on board, island hopping and for trips to discover new places.
Zeewoelf can also be perfect for adventure tourism and charter, for those considering this.
