Freeman 26 GRP Motor Cruiser - 'Leigh Samantha'
The Freeman 26 is a true classic and a very versatile 4 berth entry level river and canal cruiser. This model has stood the test of time and sells time and time again as they are excellent value for money and a cost effective way to get yourself afloat.
'Leigh Samantha' present extremely well for her year and is fitted with twin Perkins 4108 shaft drive diesel engines offering a top speed of some 12-14 knots. This one family owned vessel from new is currently stored ashore and can be viewed at anytime with prior arrangement.
Some of the many benefits that this 26 model offers over her smaller sibling the 23 are the twin helm and passengers seats within the cockpit above each engine and the central door to the main cabin which makes the interior and cockpit feel more connected. The accommodation consists of 2 V Berths bunks in the bow and a dinette bench seat arrangement on the port side. Opposite is the galley fitted with 2 burner gas hob, grill and oven, 12v fridge, basin with cold water, plus various storage cupboards and lockers. Also on the starboard side is the WC with fold down basin and porta loo.
Inventory includes: hard top and cockpit canopy, shore power with sockets in the cockpit and interior, clock and barometer, boat hook, selection of ropes and fenders, davits, transom ladder.
