Downeast Classic - Jarvis Newman 36
Iconic example of true Maine lobster boat. "BLE" (aka Best Life Ever - formerly Sunrise) moved to Anacortes, WA in the early 1990's from New England area, where she was purchased by her first owner from Jarvis Newman Company and taken to Penobscot Boat Works to be finished. The 2nd owner (m/v Sunshine) used her as a local PNW commuter from the San Juan Islands for nearly 20 years. She was purchased in 2013 by the current owner and has been cruised up the Inside Passage annually. Past years has seen lighter day cruising locally, with more time spent as a summer liveaboard. She's been well maintained and enjoyed. Classic good looks of a Maine lobster boat with sea kindly, fuel efficient performance. Great "picnic" style cabin and cockpit.
