Description
1980 Monte Carlo Yachts Offshorer 30 by Carlo Riva
A great Monte Carlo Offshorer 30 designed by Carlo Riva himself. With the unique slanted 'monoposto' post behind the dashboard and two smooth gasoline engines, this Monte Carlo Offshorer 30 is a true spectacle.
There were two decisive men who made the Offshorer a reality: Carlo Riva, from the historic yacht manufacturer, and the Italian entrepreneur, passionate about oil and three-time world champion of offshore powerboats, Renato Della Valle. Shortly after selling his namesake brand to Bertram in the early 1970s, Riva traveled to Florida to meet Bob Hobbs, a naval engineer, mathematician, and close friend who had developed an innovative "V"-shaped hull that drastically improved both performance and control on the water.
Ultimately, a great collectible item that will retain its value or even more.
