Vripack yacht design motor yacht. Over the past 4 years, many updates have been made.
MS Dolores – Steel motor yacht by Vripack
MS Dolores is a solidly built steel yacht, designed by Vripack (Sneek) and built in 1985. Originally configured as a sailing yacht, the ship was later expertly converted into a motorboat. The multi-chine hull provides excellent sailing characteristics and great stability on the water.
In recent years, the ship has been renewed and improved in many areas (see overview below). Extensive documentation is included with the boat, including a recent hull thickness report (2022).
2021/2022:
- Complete treatment of the underwater hull (multiple layers of primer & antifouling)
- 12 new zinc anodes
- New teak parts in the cockpit, benches, and floor
- Wheelhouse and guardrail fully painted
- Hull and superstructure painted (Epifanes 2C, RAL 9010 & 7016)
- Both water tanks re-cemented (safe for drinking water)
- Electrical installation and dashboard partially renewed
- Sleeping mattresses with comfortable toppers
2024/2025:
- Antifouling renewed
- Repainted (RAL 9010/7016)
- New dashboard layout and gauges
- Wipers and blades replaced
