Description
Alia was designed by acclaimed Aldo Cichero, who is renowned for his works designing yachts for some of the most discerning owners. Alia exemplified sophistication and cutting-edge design, featuring fin stabilizers underway.
Originally built in 1991 by BENETTI and subsequently refitted in 2001 at Mondomarine with new engines, including transom extension and addition of bulbous bow. Alia has since 2013 recorded yearly class surveys under ABS, she is well looked after by her current owner.
The 2001 refit included lengthening and addition of a bulbous-bow, plus installation of new Caterpillar M3412E engines, all increasing fuel efficiency. Following these upgrades, she was renamed Elenesse II, continuing to serve her Greek owner with increased capacity and improved performance.
In 2013, the yacht was moved to the waters of the United Arab Emirates. This acquisition marked the beginning of a new chapter and modernization for Alia. The yacht’s Navcom equipment was entirely updated, featuring advanced technologies including:

These updates ensured that Alia remained at the cutting edge of nautical technology, enhancing both her safety and navigational capabilities.

Interior Refurbishment: In 2016, Alia underwent a comprehensive interior refurbishment. This project included the replacement of carpets, installation of new leather ceilings, remodelling of stair, updating cabin soft fabric panels, and modernizing the ceiling lights. These updates refreshed her interiors, ensuring a luxurious and contemporary environment for all guests.

Current Status: Alia is under the classification of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), with her status valid until July 2026. Her annual class surveys, meticulously recorded by ABS, reflect her maintained condition and compliance with stringent safety and operational standards. Additionally, the yacht is equipped since 2019 with new Kohler generator sets, ensuring a reliable power supply for all onboard systems.
Alia's evolution to her current status is a testament to her enduring quality and continuous enhancements. Her journey from a Mediterranean luxury cruiser to a sophisticated and modern yacht in the UAE highlights her rich history and ongoing commitment to excellence in the world of luxury yachting.
On deck, numerous areas provide the perfect surroundings to relax and entertain, whether on one of her many sun loungers or in dining areas. Alia offers an al fresco dining area on the main deck aft, a lounge on the upper deck, and several sunbathing areas on the sundeck.
Inside guests are greeted by a restful main deck lounge, with large picture windows lining the space, and a formal dining area. The upper deck interior features a small dining area, and a lounge with a TV.
The owner's suite, forward on the main deck, has wide windows, a luxuriously appointed bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. On the lower deck there are 4 guest cabins: 2 doubles and 2 twins.
