Description
The Cruisers 3870 Esprit “SWING SHIFT” offers a departure from traditional mid-cabin layouts, providing the same second cabin accommodations as the 4270 Esprit, and a wide-open layout rivaling most aft cabin motor yachts. The forward stateroom features a queen-sized island berth and ample storage for cruising. The second cabin's twin double berths can be converted into a queen-size bed with the addition of a self-storing filler cushion. This cabin is accompanied by a private head and changing area with full-standing headroom, located behind a bulkhead door. The salon features a crescent-shaped leatherette settee and teak dining table. Galley features the owner's custom-built cabinetry with all the amenities, custom Corian counter, including a large under the counter AC/DC stainless refrigerator and freezer, a microwave oven. The salon provides plenty of natural lighting to provide an open, airy feel. Featuring the owner's custom-built teak bulkhead with pocket door, separating the forward island berth from the main cabin, while a bulkhead door ensures privacy in the aft stateroom. An added convenience, the main head offers a separate stand-up shower with full headroom. The 3870 features a large cockpit with removable U-shaped rear seating, well-appointed wet bar with 12-volt refrigerator, extended swim platform featuring Sea Deck decking and a 10' 2" Zodiac RIB dinghy. Twin Caterpillar 350HP diesel engines offer top speeds of 36 mph and a cruising speed of approximately 25 mph, making "SWING SHIFT" ideal for those interested in express performance and quality interior accommodations.
