Description
2000 Tarquin Trader 41+2 – Twin Volvo Penta TAMD63 (318 HP Each) This 2000 Tarquin Trader 41+2 is a remarkably spacious 8-berth motor cruiser, powered by twin Volvo Penta TAMD63 diesel engines (318 HP each), with shaft drive and bow thruster for confident, easy handling.
The accommodation layout is one of the most versatile in her class, offering three private cabins and multiple heads. A large, full-beam owner’s cabin is located aft, benefitting from excellent storage and a private ensuite along with a separate half-bath arrangement. Forward, the guest cabin provides flexible sleeping with the option of twin single berths or a comfortable double, served by a nearby head.
Positioned just before the forward cabin on the port side is a third cabin with practical bunk berths and its own additional head to starboard, making the vessel an ideal family cruiser or liveaboard option. The saloon dinette also converts into a generous double berth, bringing the total sleeping capacity to eight.
A closely related model, the Trader 42+1, shared much of the same proven design but added a particularly useful two-berth cabin to port, increasing flexibility for extended cruising. Viewing 6 days a week with the vessel currently lying ashore.
