Description

Impeccably Maintained Custom Lyman-Morse Mohegan 38 – MAESTRO

MAESTRO is a stunning, custom fit-out example of the Lyman-Morse Mohegan 38. Designed and constructed by her current (and only) owner, she has been meticulously maintained by Dodson Boatyard in Stonington, CT and has benefited from heated indoor storage every winter since new.

Purpose-built for low-maintenance reliability, MAESTRO combines timeless craftsmanship with practical design. While the cabin showcases teak trim and light finishes, the exterior has been kept refreshingly simple, free of teak decking or exterior varnish, making her as easy to care for as she is elegant. Jet drive propulsion with hydraulic assist and single-lever throttle and shift controls ensure intuitive, dependable handling.

One of MAESTRO's most distinctive features is her expansive cockpit. It is unusually large for a vessel of this size and transitions seamlessly to a generous helm deck via a low step, creating a space that feels open and inviting between the areas. This setup is ideal for entertaining, relaxing, or cruising with ease.

Below deck, the interior is  thoughtfully arranged to maximize comfort. The open layout features a partial galley to port, complete with a large Frigoboat stainless steel front-loading refrigerator, integrated sink, and ample counter space for preparing meals onboard. Opposite the galley is a spacious head with a self-contained shower. Starboard of the galley, a comfortable settee offers seating for two when conditions limit use of the cockpit, and adds to the sense of  flow throughout the cabin. At the bow, the V-berth provides generous overnight accommodations for two, with room to move and relax.

Whether you're cruising for the day or enjoying a weekend on the water, MAESTRO delivers refined comfort, effortless handling, and exceptional build quality in a compact yet surprisingly spacious package.

*Estimated APR, or Annual Percentage Rate, is the annual cost of the loan, which includes other charges and fees. Actual rate and term can vary depending on credit history, collateral type, age of collateral, loan amount, loan term, loan to value, vessel registration type (LLC/Trust), state of residency and other criteria. Rates and terms may vary and are subject to change without notice. Credit score can vary depending on the credit reporting agency. Payment example: A $76,000 loan for the purchase of a recreational use vessel for 20 years with a fixed rate of 5.49% would have an estimated APR of 5.49% and 240 payments of $522.37.
