At 21 feet long and 96 inches wide, the X-9 offers families lots of growing room while providing direct-drive enthusiasts tight tracking, sculpted wakes and plenty of power. It?s all possible thanks to investment cast underwater gear, second generation throttle-by-wire technology, a hull approved for world record competitions, and MasterCraft?s multi-port injected, 310 hp, RTP-1 engine. The X-9 also has five more inches of beam and over a foot of additional length than its smaller sibling, the X-7. That adds up to considerably more storage space (25 cubic feet), a larger open bow and more walking room amidship than most other models in its class. The X-9 also derives value from its increased fun factor. It seats 9 people comfortably and at varying speeds has wakes perfectly adapted for skiing, wake surfing, wake skating and wakeboarding aerials. In and out of the boat, everyone?s senses are heightened by the X-9?s 4-speaker JL Audio stereo system, thicker Zero Flex Flyer tower, rotating board racks, double KGB ballast system, graphics, billet aluminum appointments, red gauge faces, stainless rear seat grab handles and hammered metal vinyl textures.The 2006 X-9 has even more potential with optional tower accessories like the Extreme 3-way mirror or bullet-shaped JL Audio speaker cans with recessed floodlights, letting you rock and tootsie roll into the night.
