Description

This is a 214’ Ultra Fast RoPax Catamaran Ferry built in Australia in 2008. It set new
standards in performance, comfort, safety, and quality of finish. It has a high efficiency hull
design capable of delivering record-breaking performance, while meeting demanding weight
targets. Its innovative design complied with the highest standards for passenger ferries. Passenger capacity is 208 and it can carry 56 cars or 54 lane meters for trucks and 34 cars.

The vessel has the capability to assist in search and rescue and medivac operations due to its
helicopter landing facility, which is suitable for a medium class helicopter. It is powered by four
MTU 20 cylinder 1163 series diesel engines each producing 6,500 kW and driving Rolls-
Royce / Kamewa water jets, giving it max speed off 55 knots and a service speed of 48 knots
which is 20% faster than most fast ferries. Additional passenger capacity can easily be
added in place of the helideck. The vessel meets Det Norske Veritas survey requirements and
conforms to the HSC code.
