Description
I pride myself on finding high quality pre-owned boats for our customers, and ladies and gentlemen I think I may have outdone myself this time. I have discovered what may be one of the nicest vintage boats I've run across in 30 years of prowling docks and boat yards all across the southeastern US. Now that I've built up your expectations let's get to the big reveal.
This newcomer is a 2008 186 Key West Sportsman, this beauty has had one owner since purchased new and let me tell you it is obvious he has invested time and money in keeping it like new since. And as if that wasn't enough, he has contiguously upgraded this boat over the years.
She is powered by the original Yamaha F115 four stroke motor with 181 hours since new, meticulously maintained with receipts from yearly maintenance going back to original purchase date.
Her trailer is a Magic Tilt ALS1928 aluminum trailer with leaf springs that were replaced in 2023.
She has a custom T-Top and leaning post that was added in 2019 kudos to Sterling fabrication in New Iberia as usual it is a super high-quality example of craftsmanship.
A Minn Kota I-pilot 24volt trolling motor was added in 2017 and upgraded to a lithium battery system with charger in December 2023.
This boat is a true time capsule and in as close to as new condition as possible for a boat of this vintage, heck you know what, it is probably better than new, but hey don't take my word for it, come see her yourself here at the Slidell location of Boat Stuf you will be glad that you did!
