General Performance
The Jupiter 30 has a long lineage of quality construction and excellent factory support. This is a rarity in the current production boat market. This hull design has changed very little over the years and has been resistant to some of the marketing fads that are incorporated. The hull design begins with a three piece construction, which is key to high quality finish, offshore capable boats, providing the highest percentage of usable interior space, in addition to providing the critical under gunnel toe space with affords support along the gunnels while maintaining one’s center of gravity fully inside the boat. The three piece construction, hull, liner, deck construction is generally found in the highest end quality offshore designs. The non-step hull design, which Jupiter has remained committed to, provides for quicker planing, and ability to stay on plane at slower speeds. The general description of these hulls is that they feel as though they are “running on rails”, with a very stable running character, and with the 24 degree transom deadrise, their offshore comfort is equivalent to many much larger hulls. The twin Yamaha 300 is the standard power for the boat, and is an extremely well balanced match. This particular boat has had all on-going maintenance and 100 hour services completed by a local Yamaha certified dealership, such that all records can be provided.
