Two Volvo Penta diesel engines are located at the stern, behind the living compartments, which reduces noise and vibrations. The bulbous bow increases the waterline for greater efficiency and reduces pitching moments. The multifunction displays, digital controls, joystick handling, engine monitoring screens, thrusters, and the wide separation between the main engines facilitate the operation of the Aquila 44 Yacht by a single couple.
With enormous attention to detail and a deep understanding of how owners use their vessels, both the exterior and interior spaces are refined to meet these needs. The staircase from the flybridge to the foredeck provides safe and easy access to the ground tackle locker and the bow cleats for anchoring or docking. The wide side decks and safety handrails are another example of Aquila's commitment to the comfort and safety of owners and guests in the 44 Yacht model.
