Description
Superbly maintained and comprehensively equipped, the 2019 Duchy 35 ZAIN is a brand-new addition to this flourishing market and of an ideal size. Construction
RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised B.

Electrical Systems
Voltage Systems:
- Custom Empirbus control system to all DC items on the vessel. The Empirbus will control DC circuit breaking by way of an electronically controlled distribution board.

- 4 x AGM 120AH batteries - 2 x designated engine start batteries and 2 x designated house batteries.

Plumbing Systems
Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

- 30 litre Quick Nautic Boiler B3 calorifier. This can be heated by mains electricity when the shore power is connected or from the engine.
Bilge Pumps:
- 2 x Electric Whale Gulper automatic bilge pumps fitted in the keel, one forward and one aft.
- 1 x Emergency manual bilge pump fitted in the cockpit.
Tankage
Fuel:
- 2 x Aluminium tanks with total capacity of approx. 1000 litres.
- Fuel tanks fitted below saloon sole.
- Each engine fed from a designated fuel tank. Port engine feed and return from only the port tank and the opposite on the starboard side.
- Two fuel tanks connected via a balance pipe. Fuel system piping is marine diesel fuel hose to relevant ISO standard, with the final length from the water separators to the engine (and fuel return) of the flexible type.
Fresh Water:
- 2 x Vetus water tanks with total capacity of approx. 430 litres.
- Water tanks fitted in the lazarette underneath the cockpit.
Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:
- 1 x Vetus black water holding tank plumbed to either be pumped out or discharged over board.
- Toilet discharges into fitted holding tank.
- The galley sink and heads basin will drain over the side by gravity.
- The shower tray discharges overboard by a Whale Gulley IC electric automatic pump.

Description of layout from forwards:
Forward Cabin:
- Accessed down the forward steps of the saloon and past the galley on port and heads on starboard.
- Double berth with 4” foam mattress and a 1” super soft topper plus anti-bacterial mattress cover.
- Storage lockers all along the port and starboard sides underneath the deck.
- 1 x Hanging locker on the port side of the cabin.
- Lower storage on the starboard side of the cabin.
- Corian work tops with storage bins either side of the berth.
- Drawer fitted under the berth and a large storage bin accessed by lifting the bed tray (assisted with gas struts).

Saloon:
- Good all-round visibility.
- Hinging, four-part concertina door opening outwards will allow access between cockpit and saloon.
- Helm seat on the starboard side with a reversible back rest allowing the seat to be either facing forward or aft. The forward-facing seating for two guests on the port side has the ability to rotate to face aft. When the port seat is rotated to face aft, this form part of a U-shaped seat on the port side of the saloon, with seating for four guests.
- 1 x Height adjustable oak table. By lowering the saloon table another berth can also be created with a fill in cushion.
- The starboard side of the saloon has seating for three guests, facing port. The aft part of the U-shaped seat has a reversible back rest allowing the seat to be either facing forward or, when the saloon doors are open, aft.
- Storage bin in the port saloon seat.
- 6 x Storage drawers under the saloon seats, three on port and three on starboard.
- Upholstered seating covered in waterproof ‘Sunbrella’ upholstery.
- Bonded glass windows.
- LED courtesy lighting features throughout the saloon, with spot courtesy lighting under the seat front, reading lights on the sides and down lighting fitted in the saloon headlining. All saloon lighting will be controlled through the Raymarine screen.
- Low-level and high-level lights in the saloon as well as reading lights.
- A hatch located aft in the saloon, giving access to an area forward of the engine bay where the fuel tanks will be located. This area also provides access to the engine bay through removable panels.
- Hatch located forward in the saloon, between the two helm seats, giving access to a storage area on port and to systems located under the helm seat on starboard. These systems include the black water tank, pumps, and the DC distribution system.
