Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised B.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• GRP hull.
• Teak-laid side decks.
• Cockpit sole and bathing platform on a GRP sub-deck.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 2 x Yanmar 8LV 350hp.
• Key switch engine start on the helm console.
• Throttle - Morse-type top mount control.
• Separate exhaust system for each engine.
• Wet type engine exhaust system.
• Water trap exhaust silencer fitted at the lowest point of each exhaust system.
• Engine raw water inlets are fitted with a Vetus strainer.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours – 146/147.
• Engine last serviced: September 2025.
• Cruising speed – approx. 18-22 knots.
• Maximum speed – approx. 29 knots.
• Range at 19kt cruise: 250Nm.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

• Custom designed and manufactured propellers, achieving the optimum for the engine and hull package.
• Prop shafts of high chromium content stainless steel.
• Solid bronze p-brackets bonded in to support the shafts.
• Stern tube assemblies are composite tubes with water fed bearings and Tides marine seals.
• Ambassador rope cutter.
• The rudders of solid bronze.
• Bow thruster.
• Seakeeper Gyro stabiliser.
• Trim tabs flap type.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

• Custom Empirbus control system to all DC items on the vessel. The Empirbus will control DC circuit breaking by way of an electronically controlled distribution board.
• DC electrical system is 12V.
• DC socket in the lazarette hatch.

 

Battery Banks:

• 4 x AGM 120AH batteries - 2 x designated engine start batteries and 2 x designated house batteries.
• Battery isolator and combiners accessible through the aft hatch in the cockpit.

 

Battery Chargers:

• 1 x Victron charger/inverter.

 

Alternators:

• Yanmar alternator to each engine.

 

Generator:

• Generator 6kVA.
• Generator hours – 18.8.

 

Shore Power:

• 8m shore power cable.

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• Fresh water delivered by a Johnson Aquajet electric pump.
• Hot and cold running water supplied to the galley sink, and to a basin / shower handset in the heads compartment.
• 30 litre Quick Nautic Boiler B3 calorifier. This can be heated by mains electricity when the shore power is connected or from the engine.

 

Bilge Pumps:

• 2 x Electric Whale Gulper automatic bilge pumps fitted in the keel, one forward and one aft.
• 1 x Emergency manual bilge pump fitted in the cockpit.

Tankage

Fuel:

• 2 x Aluminium tanks with total capacity of approx. 1000 litres.
• Fuel tanks fitted below saloon sole.
• Each engine fed from a designated fuel tank. Port engine feed and return from only the port tank and the opposite on the starboard side.
• Two fuel tanks connected via a balance pipe. Fuel system piping is marine diesel fuel hose to relevant ISO standard, with the final length from the water separators to the engine (and fuel return) of the flexible type.

 

Fresh Water:

• 2 x Vetus water tanks with total capacity of approx. 430 litres.
• Water tanks fitted in the lazarette underneath the cockpit.

 

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• 1 x Vetus black water holding tank plumbed to either be pumped out or discharged over board.
• Toilet discharges into fitted holding tank.
• The galley sink and heads basin will drain over the side by gravity.
• The shower tray discharges overboard by a Whale Gulley IC electric automatic pump.

Navigation Equipment

• 2 x Touchscreen Raymarine multifunctional displays fitted at the helm position.
• Raymarine speed display.
• Raymarine depth display from sounder.

Summary of Accommodation:

• 5 berths in 2 cabins + saloon.

• The floor is teak and holly veneer on plywood.
• Saloon and forward cabin headlining is upholstered.
• Blinds on the portholes in cabins.

Description of layout from forwards:

 

Forward Cabin:

• Accessed down the forward steps of the saloon and past the galley on port and heads on starboard.
• Double berth with 4” foam mattress and a 1” super soft topper plus anti-bacterial mattress cover.
• Storage lockers all along the port and starboard sides underneath the deck.
• 1 x Hanging locker on the port side of the cabin.
• Lower storage on the starboard side of the cabin.
• Corian work tops with storage bins either side of the berth.
• Drawer fitted under the berth and a large storage bin accessed by lifting the bed tray (assisted with gas struts).
• Circular opening forehatch and two opening portholes provide natural light and ventilation.
• Electric lights.
• Access to anchor locker forward of the berth.
• Upholstered headlining.
• Courtesy lights under the lockers underneath the deck, overhead lights and reading lights.

 

Second Cabin:

 

Heads:

• The heads compartment will be a wet room for showering.
• Located starboard and accessed down the forward steps in the saloon.
• Wash basin
• Techma Silence Lo electric flush toilet.
• Pull-out shower with hot and cold running water.
• 1 x storage cupboard with a mirror.
• Additional storage above and below the sink.
• Opening porthole providing natural light and additional ventilation.

Helm:

• The helm controls the hydraulic steering system via a steering wheel connected to a hydraulic pump.
• Raymarine 52 DSC VHF radio fitted within easy reach of the helm position.
• On the starboard side of the helm console, a sliding glass door will give access to the side decks.
• 1 x Electric window on the forward port side.
• The forward-facing saloon windows will have three wipers and demisters. These units will be fitted in the trunking below the windscreen.
• Tachometer, engine temperature, and other engine information displayed on gauges mounted in the instrument panel.
• Fuel and water levels displayed on the Raymarine screen.
• 2 x USB charging sockets fitted at the helm console.

 

Saloon:

• Good all-round visibility.
• Hinging, four-part concertina door opening outwards will allow access between cockpit and saloon.
• Helm seat on the starboard side with a reversible back rest allowing the seat to be either facing forward or aft. The forward-facing seating for two guests on the port side has the ability to rotate to face aft. When the port seat is rotated to face aft, this form part of a U-shaped seat on the port side of the saloon, with seating for four guests.
• 1 x Height adjustable oak table. By lowering the saloon table another berth can also be created with a fill in cushion.
• The starboard side of the saloon has seating for three guests, facing port. The aft part of the U-shaped seat has a reversible back rest allowing the seat to be either facing forward or, when the saloon doors are open, aft.
• Storage bin in the port saloon seat.
• 6 x Storage drawers under the saloon seats, three on port and three on starboard.
• Upholstered seating covered in waterproof ‘Sunbrella’ upholstery.
• Bonded glass windows.
• LED courtesy lighting features throughout the saloon, with spot courtesy lighting under the seat front, reading lights on the sides and down lighting fitted in the saloon headlining. All saloon lighting will be controlled through the Raymarine screen.
• Low-level and high-level lights in the saloon as well as reading lights.
• A hatch located aft in the saloon, giving access to an area forward of the engine bay where the fuel tanks will be located. This area also provides access to the engine bay through removable panels.
• Hatch located forward in the saloon, between the two helm seats, giving access to a storage area on port and to systems located under the helm seat on starboard. These systems include the black water tank, pumps, and the DC distribution system.
• Lewmar twin sliding hatches in saloon coachroof.

 

Galley:

• Located to port side and accessed down steps in the forward end of the saloon.
• Opening porthole providing natural light and additional ventilation.
• Overhead electric lights.
• 1 x Barka Lioval35 sink fitted in the worktop above the fridge, with hot and cold running water.
• 2 x storage cupboards above the sink with space for crockery stowage.
• 3 x countertop storage cupboards above the hob.
• Two drawers and a two-door cupboard fitted under the hob and countertop.

 

 

COCKPIT

 

• Spacious cockpit with a walk-through transom with a transom door, leading to a GRP bathing platform with teak decking and stainless-steel swimming ladder as well as courtesy lights.
• On the starboard side, a side door leads to the side deck.
• Cockpit doors in teak.
• Teak-laid deck (on GRP sub-deck).
• Upholstered seating covered in waterproof ‘Sunbrella’ upholstery.
• Aft lazarette accessible through a hatch in the cockpit sole.
• Storage lockers under the seating.
• Teak removable folding table, with a designated storage space under the cockpit seating.
• Cockpit table bag.
• Access to engine compartment through the sole just forward of the lazarette, with two gas strut assisted engine hatches opening outwards.
• Rubber fendering system fitted around the bathing platform.
• On both sides of the hull, a step is incorporated near the air vents to enable stepping up from a pontoon into the side of the vessel.
• Cockpit is self-draining, as per RCD requirements.

Deck Equipment

General:

• Stainless steel flag pole.

• Quick Prince electric windlass fitted at the bow in a dedicated recess which can be covered with a hatch. Windlass can be switched at the helm from the Raymarine screen or via foot switches by the unit.
