Description
Selling due to wife's health issues. Only 128 engine hours. Many significant upgrades - see "More Details". Coast Guard documented for ease of transfer. Luxury Edition with air conditioning; reverse cycle heating; and diesel generator for air conditioning, microwave, and outlets for appliances. Northwest Edition instead just has a diesel heater and costs less.
Ideal for extended cruising while still being trailerable. There are dozens of firms that truck these boats around the country; you do not have to own a huge pickup truck and a trailer; have it shipped to your home port; ship it to Fl in the winter like I do.
Third helm in cockpit added, key to backing into a slip and getting a dockline over a cleat. Rudder position now shows on chartplotter (Garmin GRF-10 unit installed on custom mount), essential for maneuvering in tight spaces, as there is no rudder feedback to wheel with hydraulic steering, 4 wireless backup cameras with a 9” screen added for ease of backing up from main helm. A starboard side door provides easy access from the lower helm to get to the bow for picking up a mooring, anchoring, or docking. Handheld thruster controller.
Accommodations
Lots of outdoor space: topside seating for six with removable teak table, wraparound seating in the cockpit. Seats can be folded into the gunwales and the teak table removed to clear the cockpit. Two-part Sunbrella bimini: flybridge and topside seating area, use one or both.
One large V berth (custom fitted memory foam mattress topper, mattress cover, sheets, and bedspread), with enclosed head/shower, and a midship berth with a day head. Salon table can be lowered for another berth.
Hot and cold pressurized fresh water in head for shower and sink, at galley sink, at cockpit sink, and a spray shower in cockpit. Water heater uses engine heat or AC power from dock or generator. Two DC TVs - salon and V berth.
New (2025) high quality Bainbridge Nautolex covers for all salon seating and helm chair, replaced thin factory issue with wear with little use. Original heavier grade covers for all outside seating fine.
Galley Equipment
Two burner propane stove with oven and broiler, two propane tanks, two stainless sinks, spray faucet, microwave, wine cooler, refrigerator (another in the cockpit), lots of storage, Magma propane grill on swim platform rail
Deck and Hull Equipment
Windlass, with foot button controls at bow and controls at both full helms
Bow chocks added to allow use of a mooring or anchor bridle
Sea water strainers upgraded to Groco bronze and relocated for easy access
Ground tackle upgrades: anchor rode is 8-plait nylon, marked every 10’ with color coded whipping, Mantus S-1 swivel shackle, 35 lb stainless brand delta anchor, and Mantus anchor guard to hold anchor off of stem
6 fender holders added to swim platform, freeing up lazarette storage
Hooks for dockline storage added in cockpit
Lazarettes painted with 3 coats of white Easypoxy Bilgecoat instead of bare plywood
Bilge pumps upgraded, Rule Model RM 800B
Navigation Systems
Two full helms standard: Garmin MFD chartplotters, VHF with AIS receive, radar, depth sounder, autopilot, engine control and display, bow and stern thruster controls, and windlass controls. 3rd helm added in cockpit with engine control and display, thruster controls
Additional Equipment
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM UPGRADES:
Factory batteries, charger, solar panel/controller, and alternator are not sufficient to keep batteries healthy and fully charged, even using a slip. Net, batteries never get properly charged and you run out of power at anchor or mooring and destroy batteries. Upgrades fixed this issue. Boat lives at a mooring all summer and batteries remain healthy and fully charged.
Batteries upgraded to 115 amp-hrs Rolls AGM: 4 house bank, 2 thruster bank (factory supplies only 1 thruster battery; thrusters gobble power – you do not want to lose your thrusters when maneuvering in tight spaces), and 1 for start
Charging system upgraded for customizable charging program and more power using top brand: 160 amp Mastervolt Combimaster charger/inverter replaced 55 amp original unreliable Kisae Abso and matches Rolls charging requirements, and a Mastervolt EV-5 display/control panel added.
Temperature sensors installed on house bank for charger and solar controller, essential for safe and effective charging
Solar system upgraded for customizable charging program, more power, and efficiency to charge and keep batteries topped up, using top brands: Sunpower Maxeon 3, a 415 watt panel vs. 160 watt original, Victron Blue Solar 100/50 MPPT solar controller vs. inefficient old technology PWM Epever, smartphone used to monitor and control solar system. Isolation breaker/switches added to disconnect panel when using alternator or charger (vs. hardwired original), as multiple sources confuse voltage regulator in alternator and charge stage controller in charger, leading to poor charging. Wiring now proper gauge marine tinned wire.
Solar and charger volts by stage, stage duration, and tail current all tuned to Rolls batteries (adjustable if batteries replaced with a different brand).
Digital battery monitor vs. useless factory analog voltmeter: Balmar SG2000 with 2 shunts - shows voltage, state of charge, state of health, and hours remaining for house and thruster banks, voltage for start battery. Use smartphone to monitor charging, use, battery health, and change settings
Shore current protection added, a necessity when plugged in at dock to avoid boat being used as an anode for the marina, with consequent destruction of prop and other underwater metal: Victron VDI-64 galvanic isolator
All electrical work done by certified marine electrician
SOUND SYSTEM UPGRADES: Garmin MS RA770 Apollo with AirPlay added. Marine amplifier with 1,400 watts, 8 speakers in 4 zones, SiriusXM Satellite Radio Universal Antenna, Am/fm/vhf band separator in FM antenna cable to use large VHF antenna for stereo.
