Description
The 2022 Back Cove 34O is a popular outboard-powered cruiser known for its classic Down East styling combined with modern performance. Marking Back Cove's first outboard-powered design, the "O" in 34O signifies its outboard propulsion, a notable departure from Back Cove's traditional single-inboard diesel engines. This model was designed with an entirely new hull to optimize for outboards, featuring Back Cove's proprietary Trailing Edge Lifting Surface (TRELIS) to get on plane faster. It features a newly designed hull, a standard bow thruster, and is capable of reaching top speeds significantly faster than traditional single diesel Back Cove models. The 34O emphasizes a spacious cockpit designed for entertaining, with an aft-facing seat that converts into a helm deck U-shaped dinette or a second berth.
