Built by Rossinavi and meticulously designed for serious ocean-going exploration, she was built for safety, efficiency and sustainability. Constructed with a reinforced steel hull and aluminum superstructure, AKULA meets all ICE Class standards, RINA Green Plus ensuring resilience in polar regions and challenging environments. Certified with the RINA Green Plus label, it embodies an eco-conscious approach, utilizing a diesel/electric propulsion system that minimizes emissions, noise, and vibration while delivering efficient fuel consumption (<150 l/h) and an impressive range of more than 8,000 nautical miles at cruising speed. AKULA accommodates 10 guests and 13 crew across six expansive decks, encompassing over 470m² of elegantly designed guest interiors, with a total of 1,400m² of usable space. An elevator serves all guest areas across multiple decks, enhancing accessibility. High-end amenities include a heated pool, gym, sauna, mud room, and observation lounges, ensuring comfort during extended voyages of up to 30 days without the need to dock.
