Description

GILL et Fils ROCHESTER UK Classic Yacht

Fully renovated wooden ketch

The classic ketch "SWASTIKA" (its original name) was built in 1908 in England, in Rochester, Kent, according to the plans of Frederick Shepherd. Since January 1, 2012, "Swastika" has been classified as a "Heritage Interest Vessel" and by decree of the Ministry of Culture, dated February 27, 2014, "Swastika" is classified as a Historical Monument.
The name "Swastika" comes from Sanskrit where it means happiness and prosperity. An ancient symbol of humanity, it represents humanity at the center of the universe and is found in various cultures, notably Hinduism and Buddhism. Its original meaning is positive and benevolent.

This fully renovated classic yacht will allow you to sail in the spirit of a classic from the early century and experience unique sensations that only such rigging can provide.
