Description
This Sangermani was completely restored during last years:
- teak deck;
- 30% hull planks replaced;
- 20% frame replaced;
- engine removed and overhauled;
- water tanks replaced;
- diesel tanks replaced;
- all varnish repainted, of course;
- electric system replaced;
- hydraulic system replaced;
- interior deeply refreshed;
- new sails and rigging checked;
- wc replaced;
- fridge replaced.
The yawl was taken to the shipyard disarmed, disassembled in every part,
checked board by board, frame by frame, the
planks and damaged frames were replaced, it was sanded and painted
inside and out with appropriate products from Boero and Cecchi Gustavo.
The system has been redone:
- electrical
- galvanic
- water
- engine
- winch
Everything has been kept original, but LED tape has been added inside each
ceiling light (the ceiling lights are dual-purpose, original
or LED).
The entire bilge system has been completely redone with pumps, pipes, and
sea intake.
The WC cabin is completely new.
The galley kitchen area is completely new: stove, fridge, pipes and
faucets, boiler and drains.
The engine has been removed, overhauled, repainted, and reinstalled.
The yawl has 35 hours of running time.
The shaft removal is new.
The bushings are new.
The masts have been completely disassembled of every metallic part,
the wooden parts have been painted, the metallic parts
have been painted and reassembled.
The rigging and cordage have been reviewed and are perfectly functional.
The VHF system has a new antenna, a new high-capacity cable,
original VHF and modern VHF.
There is a TV setup with an antenna on the mast at the stern.
The deck is made of seasoned solid teak 15 mm thick
white rubberized, glued with triple adhesive power glue.
The transparent parts have all been painted with eight coats of flatting
Gloss 75 Boero UV.
The hull is the original sky blue color (50% white, 50% blue), a carbon primer has been applied to the keel and Marlin 505 Super anti-fouling.
The internal hull has been painted with a primer plus three coats of appropriate gray paint, the bilge with appropriate dark gray paint, and a stainless steel longitudinal chain for cleaning the waterline.
Two stainless steel tracks on the right and left with over 30 pins 8x28 approximately.
The underlying boards have been replaced.
For the restoration, the same types of wood present on the boat were used, namely
seasoned mahogany planking, thick seasoned teak deck, and
oak frames.
The system is 24 Volts with 4 batteries.
