Description

Blue water cruiser well equipped. Wonderful 26 years of same ownership by a wonderful family. Well taken care of and enjoyed. The owners are retiring out of state. Great sail plan with mast furling main sail that is external of mast. Upgrades were made with family safety in mind. Stainless steel handrail around perimeter instead of a lifeline wire system. Plus dual stainless steel support rails at the mast. Folding prop upgrade gained one knot under sail. Roomy with lots of storage.

Owner has manuals for systems and a detailed letter of the boat from the owner for the new owner. Solidly built, upgraded, taken care of and turnkey ready. Check the long list of features in the Additional Info tab.

From the customer's log: (In the listing photos. Speed meter photo shows reaching 9.1 knots.) "We left Chamela at dawn and arrived in Punta Mita less than 12 hours later, an average speed of over 8 knots. The boat's theoretical hull speed (1.4 times the square root of the water line). As you can see, we did over 9 knots over the earth at times according to all 3 GPS units. We had about 3 knots of current and 12 to 15 knots of wind on the beam. A perfect passage."
