Saga II has made many ocean passages and performed very well being both fast and comfortable with top quality sea manners. She has beat larger boats on light air ocean passages and sailed during gales when other boats were hove to. Easy for man or woman to operate without the overwhelming forces found on larger boats but at the same time giving you an immense feeling of safety due to its design and construction. No other country built boats as well as the English in the 70's due to Lloyd's demands for quality construction. To sail a Rival is to sail a "real boat"... not one built to a price. Rivals were built for the oceans...local or far away. Saga II is far more comfortable than most boats her size and larger due to her attention to the important details. Many boats are fancier but few will stand the test of time like a Rival. Add the boatyard modified contemporary keel shape and a newly rebuilt Volvo Penta 3-cyl. engine with zero hours and she will out perform all other Rival 32's on the market.
