Construction
Aluminum construction on frames and stringers by CN de Biot in 1977
The underwater hull is hard-chined, the topsides are shaped.
This construction feature allows for the use of thick plates in the bottoms.
This model comes from a small series based on Joubert plans between 1975 and 1980. (7 units)
Underwater hull sandblasted in 2001 - 6 layers of Epoxy
Engine
Volvo-Penta D2-50 1280h engine recently replaced.
MS225A gearbox with an 8° angle
Inline transmission, 35 mm shaft, PSS seal.
3-blade propeller with maxprop feathering, 2010 (the old 3-blade propeller is provided as a spare)
Bipolar wiring (starter relay, sensors, and alternator separated from the engine mass)
Daily tank approx. 60 L, Racor RA500 pre-filter
