An innovative motorsailer from Ferretti Nautica with classic lines, spacious and rich in finishes.

The Altura 42 from the Ferretti shipyards in Bologna was a boat (the project is by Alberto Mercati) that helped redefine the very concept of "motorsailer". From 1975 to 1985, seventy-nine specimens were built. The fiberglass hull has a long keel and classic lines similar to boats from Northern Europe. The deckhouse, on the other hand, is more modern, with a squared cockpit and large sunbathing areas. The rig is a ketch and the sail plan reaches 88 square meters. The spaces below deck, comfortable and well-lit, offer a bow owner's cabin with bathroom plus another cabin, in the central area the chart table, kitchen, and internal wheelhouse, and at the stern the saloon.
