Description
1978 Cape Dory 28 for sale, $17,500. Over $45,000 in upgrades.
Upgrades include the following:
1. Replaced Engine (Universal M3-20B), Drive Shaft (stainless steel), Dripless shaft seal, and engine panel.
2. Replaced Toe Rail, Teak Rub Rail and Bow Sprit.
3. Re-bedded Lifeline Stanchions.
4. Replaced all Cabin Lights with Brass LED fixtures.
5. Replaced Holding Tank, Macerator Pump and added a Y-Valve
6. Installed new Ritchie Magnetic Compass.
7. Redid all interior cushions with new 4” Lux Foam, covered with Sunbrella fabric.
8. Installed new self-tailing winches
9. Installed new DC Electrical Panel. Wiring 50% Complete.
10. Installed Solar Control on main panel for future project
11. Installed Shore Power Plug, panel mounted switch and outlets in galley and head.
12. Installed new Garmin GPSMAP Chart Plotter 9X3. Wiring 40% complete.
13. Installed new Standard Horizon VHF Transceiver. Wiring 35% complete.
14. Dodger Sailrite Kit: Frame completed, canvas and windows 40% complete.

19. Interior wood refinished with Helmsman spar urethane.
20. Autopilot: Raymarine S2000, rebuilt by RM, new control panel installed.
