Description
This 36 Islander Masthead Sloop is a good example of Alan P. Gurney's popular design and built by Islander Yachts USA/ Tradewind Yachts. Nice lines with a sturdy rig, fin keel and 6 foot draft and powered by a 50 HP Perkins 4-108 diesel engine delivering a good turn of speed under power or sail.
The hull was stripped, barrier coated epoxied in 2017 (No Blistering and hull cleaned by diver every 6 months), Navigation upgraded to B&G Zeus GPS Chart plotter, Speed, Depth Sounder & Wind on a NMEA 2000 backbone. Ship's house batteries consist of 4 x Life Line AGM 6 Volt. Heat exchanger & water pump recently changed.
