Description
This 30-footer incorporates a performance design by Arthur Edmonds that creates a swift and responsive, balanced helm with forgiving characteristics for cruising. Her wide beam, integrated keel and skeg rudder provide superb tracking and excellent control. Her weight and stability keeps the boat dry and comfortable in heavy seas, yet she can sail close winded and accelerates in light air. Her easy-to-handle moderate aspect ratio rig is deck stepped with large mainsail for good performance on and off the wind. The roomy, self-bailing center cockpit allows distribution of interior volume into sleeping spaces for six to include a large aft private cabin with a hanging locker, and drawers to port. The main cabin has a convertible lounge with drop leaf table and forward v-berth. The table serves both sides for dining. Center drink holders are useful whether the leaves are up or down and the table can also be used in the cockpit. The port settee is designed for sitting or as a berth for a child (5’4” long). The starboard settee is long enough for an adult. There is storage beneath all the berths and ample storage on shelves, racks and cupboards abound. There is a large stand up head with shower and tub. The galley is carefully situated away from main entry traffic and has ample storage. Beautifully trimmed generously in lush teak with teak and holly sole, the interior is warm and inviting. The attention to detail is appreciated throughout the boat. Everything about this boat has top notch hardware. 4th owner of 21 years. Fresh Water only. Never in charter.
