Description
The Ta Shing–built Panda 38 is a sought-after cruising classic, produced in limited numbers yet widely respected among seasoned sailors. Known for their craftsmanship and bluewater pedigree, these medium-to-heavy displacement, full-keel cutter-rigged vessels share lineage with the acclaimed Baba and Tashiba lines—also built by Ta Shing. The Panda 38 carries that same character-rich aesthetic while delivering the practicality and capability demanded of serious offshore cruisers.
Below decks, warm teak, spruce accents, and abundant natural light create an inviting atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant upholstery. The layout is thoughtfully executed for extended cruising comfort. On deck, bulwark-protected side decks, wide walkways, outboard shrouds, and the Panda’s famously gentle motion all contribute to a feeling of security and ease underway.
Notable Highlights
