BABA 40 PILOT HOUSE
CUTTER RIG "ZOE"
Blue Water Cruiser
$132,000
The legendary Baba 40 Pilot House sailboat designed by Robert Perry is a solid heavy Bluewater cruiser. ZOE has always been in freshwater spending the last ten years on the Tennessee River and her previous years on Lake Superior. She is a long keel cutter rig sailboat with a 6 ft draft. Her white FRP hull and teak covered decks are in excellent condition. She has vinyl covered stainless steel life lines and teak handrails along the sides of the superstructure and at various locations on the vessel. There are canvas covers for the cap rail brightwork and a tan colored canvas Bimini with a stainless steel tubular support over the cockpit that features teak decking.
The beautiful teak interior throughout the boat creates a warm classic nautical feel. She has two cabins, a port side double berth and a forward Vee berth with plenty of storage and a single head with a free standing shower/bench seating. The port side U shaped galley features a double stainless sink, 3 burner Force 10 propane Oven/stove and a Dometic top loading refrigerator with freezer section. In the bright and airy pilot house is the spacious comfortable settee with dining table and lower helm.
There is a stainless steel rail system with manual pulley and cable for the 8' Avon dinghy. An electric outboard motor conveys with the dingy. A list of electronics and specs on the 4 cylinder diesel naturally aspirated 65 HP engine are listed in the Features section of the listing.
