1985 CUSTOM -1,
Born from a carefully crafted amateur construction in Marseille in 1985, Khaya is a cruising-racing sailboat whose epoxy molded wooden hull demonstrates solid construction and ensures good seaworthiness. Equipped with a fine and deep keel associated with a separate rudder, it offers precise and enjoyable navigation at the helm. Its low and slender lines give it an elegant silhouette, imbued with the charm of its era.
Inside, the space remains simple yet warm, with exposed woodwork reminiscent of the authenticity of traditional sailboats. The intimate cockpit allows the captain to be close to the sensations and the marine environment.
Its name, Khaya, meaning "mahogany," reflects the spirit of the boat: a sailboat with a strong character, rich in history, intended for enthusiasts wishing to take ownership of an authentic boat and continue its evolution through new sailing projects.

Engine revision: November 2025
Engine replaced in 2015 with a refurbished Volvo Penta 30 hp.
