Description
The 1990 Contest 43 is a well-built Dutch cruising yacht, British registered. She presents in very good condition for her age, with clear evidence of consistent care from both previous and current owners.
Since 2019, the current owners have invested close to €70,000 in maintenance, repairs, and sensible upgrades, helping keep the yacht reliable and ready to cruise. She is fitted with her original 62hp six-cylinder Nanni diesel engine, with approximately 3,400 hours, last antifouled and engine serviced in April 2025.
This example benefits from the less common three-cabin layout, making her a practical option for family cruising or accommodating guests. Below deck, the yacht offers a spacious teak interior that feels warm and comfortable without losing the solid, traditional character Contest yachts are known for.
If you are looking for a capable and comfortable family cruiser with strong build quality and in turn-key condition, this Contest 43 is well worth consideration.
