‘In 1993, we took delivery of our newly built Bowman 40 from Rival Bowman

Yachts Ltd. in Southampton. At the shipyard's invitation, we were able

to visit the site during the five construction phases. From then on, the ship

was always a reliable and safe haven for us on our voyages in the North

Sea and Baltic Sea, whatever the weather.’

This Bowman 40 was built in 1993 and has been family-owned ever since –

a rare detail that speaks for the particularly careful handling of the boat.

Over the years, it has been regularly stored in dry winter storage and

maintained by specialist companies. The condition and equipment clearly

reflect this: numerous careful modernisations have been carried out without

changing the classic character.
