Description
Remarks oft he owner:
‘In 1993, we took delivery of our newly built Bowman 40 from Rival Bowman
Yachts Ltd. in Southampton. At the shipyard's invitation, we were able
to visit the site during the five construction phases. From then on, the ship
was always a reliable and safe haven for us on our voyages in the North
Sea and Baltic Sea, whatever the weather.’
Remarks:
Bowman 40 – Classic quality yacht in family ownership
The Bowman 40 embodies everything that makes a true ocean-going
yacht: robust construction, balanced sailing characteristics and timeless
design. Designed by renowned designer Chuck Paine and built in Great Britain
to meet the highest standards of safety and comfort on long voyages,
it is one of the most sought-after yachts in its class.
This Bowman 40 was built in 1993 and has been family-owned ever since –
a rare detail that speaks for the particularly careful handling of the boat.
Over the years, it has been regularly stored in dry winter storage and
maintained by specialist companies. The condition and equipment clearly
reflect this: numerous careful modernisations have been carried out without
changing the classic character.
A yacht for sailors who value quality, tradition and a well-designed vessel
for long voyages. Ready to write new chapters – stylish, safe and reliable.
