Description
Loose Cannons is a superb cutter-rigged Dean 365 catamaran, perfectly suited for bluewater cruising. Designed for long-distance adventures, she has circumnavigated the globe, making her an ideal choice for a family or couple seeking to explore the world’s oceans.
Her well-thought-out design ensures exceptional stability, ease of handling—even for solo sailors—and spacious living areas. The saloon, with its panoramic windows, offers stunning views from any anchorage, while three cosy cabins and two heads provide comfortable accommodation for extended voyages. The dining area, seating six, converts into a queen-sized bed for added flexibility.
The fully equipped galley is a pleasure to use, with ample workspace, extensive storage, and high-quality appliances. Outside, the fully enclosed cockpit ensures protected sailing in all weather conditions, while the aft deck is perfect for barbecues, fishing, or diving. The foredeck, complete with a sunshade awning, is a great space to relax at anchor.
Built in 1994 and launched in 1999, Loose Cannons has been meticulously maintained by her two owners. The current owner, a Superyacht Captain, has invested over USD $200,000 since 2018 in a comprehensive refit, including Awlgrip paint, upgraded electrical systems, LifePO4 batteries, solar panels, new rigging, sails, and more.
Powered by reliable Yanmar 2GM20 engines with under 200 hours since their rebuild, she offers dependable performance. Navigation is enhanced by Raymarine radar overlays, a full suite of spare instruments, and a robust safety setup.
Having sailed over 50,000 nautical miles, Loose Cannons is a proven world cruiser, fully equipped and ready for her next adventure. She includes all tools, spares, galley gear, and cruising essentials, requiring no significant further investment.
