MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
HULL:
Sequoia (giant tree) planked, screwed, epoxy glued on
laminated glued frames.
Two layers of mahogany thick veneer, each 3mm thick, in vacuum process
pressed with epoxy resin.
The total surface is sanded, internally and externally epoxy sealed,
outer skin sealed with polyurethane D D paint white.
Material selection and manufacturing method result in an extremely
sturdy and yet very light construction with excellent
physical properties.
DECK CONSTRUCTION:
Deck beams laminated epoxy glued. Teak / Abachi.
Covered with 12 mm plywood and finished with 14mm teak strip
on top.
Waterway and shame deck structure & cockpit painted with classic boat varnish.
KEEL:
Keel and keel box are welded constructions made of stainless
steel of group V 4 A. 1.487 (absolutely seawater resistant and acid resistant);
The material thicknesses, depending on static requirements, range between
4mm, 6mm, and 8mm.
TANKS:
made of V4A 1mm wall thickness, equipped with baffle plates.
Water tank approx. 280 Ltr.
Diesel tank approx. 190 Ltr.
Wastewater tank: approx. 11 Ltr.
WATER PUMP:
approx. 2 bar pressure. Hot and cold water system.
Hot water via engine or shore connection. Shower hot for cockpit or
swimming platform. During long trips, rainwater can be collected in the
water tank
