The Hunter 340 is a comfortable masthead sloop with an easy-to-handle designthat has stood up well to time. Their 1997 model lives up to its title of racer-cruiser, the former denoting its efficiency upwind and ease of handling owing to its fractional rig sailplan and the latter coming from, among other things, its spacious cockpit and salon with 6’4” of headroom. This boat is currently being sold by its fourth owner. According to the second owner, who acquired the boat in 2017, the electronics, mixing elbow, engine motor mounts, jib, and batteries were replaced in 2018/2019.
