Description
The Sabre 452 is a refined, powerful cruising yacht aimed at discerning sailors. It is a go-fast cruiser that could sail anywhere in the world at a moment's notice. Fast, beautifully built, and pleasing to the eye.
Serendipity II is a well-maintained freshwater 1999 Sabre 452. Spending only a few years in Nova Scotia when new, the vessel was sold to a couple in Quebec City that sailed her a few months each year, primarily in Lake Ontario's 1,000 Islands.
The current owner updated the vessel in 2025 with a refinished varnished interior, new Genco dodger, bimini, and mainsail covers.
This federally registered yacht is federally registered and equipped for offshore passages and longer adventures, including 330-watt solar panel, a very sturdy three-spreader rig, cutter configuration, and running backstays (when set up in cutter configuration). She comes with low engine hours due to limited time in the water during summers and because she has been sailing.
Serendipity II has a 2 cabin, 2 head layout. She also has the shallow draft keel (5’-8”). The beautiful dark blue Awl-Grip was done in 2021. There is a Harken furler, adjustable genoa tracks, and an electric winch. In 2023, she got some new instruments, including interior and exterior chartplotters and an Autohelm ST-7000 autopilot.
The Sabre 452 has lots of power yet can still fit under the 65-foot-high bridges of the Intracoastal, making it a very versatile vessel for coastal cruising and offshore passages.
A recent survey is available as is a detailed review of the boat.
