Construction

RCD Status: We understand that the yacht was built to and conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• The hull is of single skin construction using glass-aramid (Kevlar) hybrid fibre reinforced polyester laminate with a high proportion of uni-directional fibres, giving excellent strength and fatigue properties.
• The deck is PVC foam cored sandwich construction with single skin areas or hard core inserts under fittings.
• Teak deck, all new 2024 with 16mm teak – by Teak Decking Solutions.
• Teak toe rail with stainless steel fairleads and drains.
• Structural bulkheads are mainly foam-cored plywood laminated to the gull and deck.
• Entire hull and coachroof area faired, primed and newly painted 2024.
• Topsides finished in Awlgrip Flag Blue and Awlgrip Snow White.
• Cove stripe on upper part of hull finished in gold.
• Coaming and cabin top finished in NGA 2000 white gelcoat with two dark blue coaming stripes.
• Waterline stripes in white and red antifouling.
• Antifouling last done in November 2024.
• Hydraulically operated swim platform in the transom with stairs and swim ladder.
• Extended transom with two large hatches to access aft lazarette.
• Tinted Perspex hull windows in main saloon flush with hull on outside.
• All deck hatches replaced 2024 with Lewmar flush hatches.
• Tender chocks for the bow area – to stow the tender.
• Displacement loaded: 56,000kg / 123,500lb.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Reduced draft keel designed by German Frers, 3.0m rather than standard 3.4 meters.
• The ballast keel is of bulb type and is a lead casting with antimony.
• Cast in keel bolts are high tensile stainless steel.
• The rudder is of foam filled GRP with high-tensile stainless-steel stock, supported by two self-aligning roller bearings.
• Rudder depth reduced by 20 cm to account for shallow draft keel.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Perkins Sabre M22STi, six-cylinder turbo-charged and intercooled marine diesel engine, 155kW (210hp) at 2500 rpm.
• Hurth HSW 630 A gearbox, 2.63:1 reduction.
• Propeller shaft of high-tensile, steel.
• Wet exhaust system.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours – approx. 9,060 total, as of September 2025.
• Engine last serviced: September 2025.
• Cruising speed – approx. 8 knots.
• Maximum speed – approx. 10 knots.
• In November 2024, the engine was out of the yacht and given a full rebuild to “zero hours” by Perkins Worldwide agent in Portugal (with a 12-month warranty from Nov 2024).
• Cylinder head refaced, block rectified, new injectors, pistons, cylinder linings, intercooler, turbo, alternator, start motor and all ancillaries.
• New blowers (in/out) installed in engine room – September 2025.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

• Three-blade feathering Max Prop.
• Cable steering gear.
• Aluminium steering quadrant bolted to rudderstock.
• 70” (1.8m) diameter recessed destroyer type helm wheel, with elk-hide cover.
• Emergency tiller system.
• Max Power bow thruster RR450 with control at helm.
• Bow thruster serviced Oct 2024.

• Bosch Rexroth 11 Function Hydraulic System.
• 2 x power packs, plus a PTO pump on the generator, for:

Battery Chargers:

• 2 x Mastervolt Mass 24/75-C battery chargers (for service bank) – new 2024.
• Victron battery charger for gen set – new 2024.
• Mastervolt Mass 24/50 220v 50A battery charger for radio bank.

 

Generator:

• Northern Lights PX 320 K2 generator, given a full overhaul in 2024, including – injector pump and cylinder head removed for rectification, all valves replaced, start motor replaced, start system rewired, low pressure pump replaced, cylinder head refaced and all gaskets replaced.
• Generator hours – approx. 5,572 as of September 2025.
• Generator last serviced:  September 2025.
• PTO on generator for the hydraulics.

 

Shore Power:

• Shore power inlet rewired – 2024.
• 2 x Victron 7000 isolation transformers – new 2024.
• Shore power inlet for 230 V 50 A 50 Hz through a step up / step down isolation transformer.
• Shore power inlet for 115 V 50 A 60 Hz through a transformer.
• Shore power inlet for 230 V 50 A 50 Hz through a step up / step down isolation transformer for Air conditioning.
• Shore power cable and plugs.
• 60 Hz protection system (protects 50 Hz only consumers when plugged into a 60 Hz power source).

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• 2 x CEM L-Inoc / 20x pumps.
• 66-litre water heater tank, heated via main engine heater exchanger / 220v.
• Hot and cold showers at swim platform and in aft cockpit.
• Seawater pump distributing water to deck wash and galley.

 Watermaker:

• Aqua Whisper Pro 1400 watermaker – new 2024.

 

Bilge Pumps:

• 2 x electric submersible bilge pumps (main bilge and bow locker).

Fuel:

• Total capacity 1,740 litres in 2 stainless steel tanks.

 Fresh Water:

• 1,370 litres total capacity in 2 stainless steel tanks.

 Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• 2 x blackwater tanks, each of 167 litres. Emptied by electric pumps overboard or via deck fittings.
• Level indicators for black water tanks in heads and at monitoring panel.
• Galley sinks drain through seacock.
• Washbasins and showers drain to sump tanks (emptied by electric pumps).
• Manual backup pumps for sump tanks.

Engine Space:

• Access via door in hallway and under companionway steps.
• Engine room located at centreline beneath the forward cockpit and lined with full sound insulation.

Owner´s Cabin:

• Located aft.
• Exceptional for a 77ft yacht.
• It provides great privacy away from other guests and crew, with a large comfortable bed, ensuite head and stall shower. It is hard to imagine a better-appointed cabin for the owners.
• Centreline queen sized berth with drawers below.
• Settee to port.
• Hanging lockers port and starboard with drawers below.
• Large vanity mirror with lighting and shelf with storage below.
• Work desk to starboard.
• Ensuite head with stall shower, sink, mirror, storage lockers and VacuFlush toilet.
