HANSE 531
2004 Hanse 531 for sale exclusively with DBY Boat Sales. Privately owned since new boat and continuously being well maintained and upgraded/equipped for serious offshore cruising.
A 2025 survey has just been completed for insurance purposes and is available upon inspection.
The 531 is an extremely stable platform, with substantial stability to ensure stiff upwind sailing and minimal roll at anchor.
Her 2-cabin layout is extremely spacious and luxurious. She is akin to a modern apartment but floating.
Her original owner commissioned her in Pittwater and as well as cruising her 2 handed with his wife, the owners successfully club raced her also short-handed. This was possible due to electric winches and self-tacking jib. A brilliant and simple system.
Powered by a Yanmar diesel 100hp engine, 4.5kva genset, electric winches, Simrad electronics, HF and VHF radios, Avon tender 3.1m, 15hp Mercury + additional 3hp Mercury, sleeps 5 in 2 cabins, 2 private bathrooms, gas stove and oven, microwave, BBQ, watermaker 30L/H.
Since new, this yacht has had most of her life being pampered on a marina berth and has returned from a successful 6-month coastal cruise of the East coast.
