Finot-Conq designed Open 50 (2005) aluminium cruiser/racer located in Valencia, Spain. Well maintained and hardly used during last 10 years. Prepared for ocean regattas/crossings and equipped with extra water ballasts tanks to improve healing angle and sailing comfort. Competitive racer and comfortable cruiser (6 berths in 3 cabins). Easy to handle by short-handed crew and able to reach speeds up to 15 knots. Electronics 2015 and complete sailing wardrobe with trinquete, 2 gennakers and 1 spinnaker. 40Hp Volvo Penta engine in perfect state with only 1.500 engine hours. CONSTRUCTION: Built by Technimar St Malo in France in 2005. Aluminium construction, deck 3mm, bottom 10mm. 3M Deep fin keel with 3,5T lead bulb. Twin rudders. 2.2T water ballast on each side with electric pump filling, transfer by gravity, to obtain ideal 15 degree healing angle. Teak in cockpit. Stern platform housing for hard shell dinghy, giving direct access to water. Single wheel in stainless steel (covered in nylon cord).

RIGGING AND SAILS: Bermudian sloop. C-Wing rigging (no spreaders) with carbon rotating mast and aluminium boom. Carbon bow sprit 2M for gennaker and spinnaker. Stainless steel dyform rigging (2017). Complete running rigging in dyneema. Assimetric spinnaker. Incidence sails (2016), hardly used. Full batten mainsail 100 sqm by Incidence, reefing lines to cockpit. Genoa 57 sqm by Incidence on Facnor furler. Trinquette 25 sqm on Facnor furler. Furling gennaker. 2 Asymetric spinnakers (light and heavy), both in sock.

ACCOMODATION: Sleeps 6 in 2 cabins and saloon. Interior balsa-mahagoni wood. Partial insulation. Saloon with U shaped seating for 6 to starboard, additional sofa seating to port. Galley with U shaped stainless steel worktops with built in single stainless steel sink with mixer tap. 2 Burner stove with oven. 80L Top loading refrigerator (convertible into freezer). ENGINE: Volvo Penta S40508 Diesel 40Hp. Engine hours 1.500h registered January 2025. Saildrive with seal renewed 2023. Foldable Gori 3-blades prop with overdrive (7Kn at 2000 rpm on flat water, consumption 3L/H. Fuel diesel tanks 125L.
