Leopard 40 (2006) – 4 cabins / 2 bathrooms – Papeete tax paid
The Leopard 40 is one of the most popular and proven cruising catamarans on the market. Designed by Morelli & Melvin and built by Robertson & Caine, it offers generous living space, easy movement on board, and a bright, open interior — all noteworthy qualities for a catamaran of this size.
This model is particularly appreciated for its large, well-protected cockpit, seamlessly connected to the saloon and sheltered by a rigid bimini. Movement around the boat is safe, with direct access to the aft platforms without steep steps. The comfortable helm station provides excellent visibility and easy access to sail controls, making the Leopard 40 ideal for short-handed sailing, whether as a couple or a family.
This 2006 Leopard 40 catamaran, VETE, is Polynesian tax paid. Purchased in 2021 by her current owners for a family liveaboard experience, VETE has mainly cruised around Tahiti and nearby islands between 2021 and 2025
