Description
This 2006 Leopard 40 catamaran (VETE) flying the Polynesian flag is waiting for you to take it on new adventures.
The current owners acquired it in 2021 to enjoy a unique experience of living aboard with their family and sailed around the islands near Tahiti until 2025.
VETE has therefore not been on any long voyages and the structures have not been subjected to harsh sea conditions. This Leopard 40 is in good overall condition.
VETE has 4 cabins, 2 bathrooms with toilets and showers, and sleeps 10 (4 double beds, 2 single beds (in the bow).
This exceptional catamaran, designed by renowned architects Morelli & Melvin, offers a timeless design. Its large cockpit allows easy access to the aft skirts without any steps to climb, ensuring ease of movement.
Manufactured in vacuum-formed fiberglass, this Leopard 40 combines strength and durability. The bright interior features large glass surfaces offering a 360-degree view of the outside. The steps leading up to the roof keep the temperature cool by preventing direct sunlight from entering. The fully equipped galley, with two refrigerators, an oven, two burners, and a double stainless steel sink, extends to the cockpit for al fresco dining. The chart table and 12v main switchboard are conveniently located on the port side.
Some work is required, such as antifouling and an inspection of the original standing rigging.
