Description
Robert Perry design. Fun 10M racer. A sport sailboat with good performance characteristics. The construction is cored fiberglass. Except for the single-skin cabin top and where fiberglass spine frames are located.
Two bunks under the cockpit. Room for storage of essential items. The cockpit is 17” deep. Room for a crew of four or five to work the boat. Flying Tigers are known to have handled a crew of six or seven. The forward hatch is molded fiberglass into the forward part of the deckhouse. Large enough for spinnaker hoisting and douses.
Immediately aft of the companionway is a center well for the electric motor and battery. It's a real simple plug and play battery to electric motor hook up. An additional battery can be added for more range.
Owner found it tracks well. Bigger gusts could bring fun play and surf on the water.
Retractable keel with stainless steel hardware makes the Flying Tiger 10M trailer able. A trailer is not included. But one would open up the ability to travel to coastal or inland water destinations.
