Description
Founded in 1990 when Michael Schmidt acquired a boatyard in Greifswald, Germany,
and debuting just shortly after, in 1993, at the Hamburg Boat Show, Hanse Yachts made a strong entry to the sailing scene with their model, the Hanse 291, gaining immediate attention for the self-tacking jib it was equipped with, and for its affordability.
Collaborating with designers like Judel/Vrolijk & co. Hanse produced award-winning sailboats known for speed, comfort, and modern design, and by the 2000s Hanse had already established itself globally for its innovative and easy-to-handle yachts. Today, Hanse Yachts remains a leader in German-engineered sailboats.
The 2007 Hanse 430e is a performance cruising sailboat designed for coastal and offshore sailing.Â
The epoxy hull provides durability and excellent handling, making it suitable for long passages or short day sails. With a self-tacking jib and an optimized deck layout it’s easy to manage, whether single-handed or with a small crew. The interior offers three cabins and generous living space, accommodating families or groups comfortably.
